Marriott offers cash incentive to vaccinated staff

Last Updated on November 4, 2022 by admin

This move by Marriott is yet another example of how companies are beginning to incentivize their employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19. So far, other companies who have implemented similar programs include Starbucks, Trader Joe’s, and Costco. While some critics argue that these incentives are nothing more than “bribes,” many health experts say that they could be effective in getting more people vaccinated.

The CDC reports that as of May 17, 2021, over 157 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the United States. However, this still leaves a significant portion of the population unvaccinated. With new variants of the virus popping up around the world, it’s more important than ever to get as many people vaccinated as possible.
